The individual membership is designed for people with food allergies and their families and caregivers. Individual members receive:
- Food Allergy News: This 12-page newsletter, published six times a year, is packed with practical tips and strategies for managing food allergies, allergen-free recipes, and the latest on food allergy research and legislative efforts. Whether you want advice on dining out, managing a birthday party, reading food labels, or sending your child to school, child care, or camp, you will find it here. Check out a sample newsletter issue.
- Food Allergy News for Kids: This four-page newsletter is written exclusively for, and mailed directly to, children. Published every other month, it is loaded with fun and games, and includes stories and tips from children about how they handle their allergies.
- Discount on Food Allergy Conferences: As a FAAN member, you will receive a discount on the registration price for the annual Food Allergy Conferences.
- Special Allergy Alerts: Receive urgent notices of mislabeled and recalled food or pharmaceutical products, as well as advance notice of ingredient changes from responsible food manufacturers.
